BCG Etiquette Series

In this series, we go over some gym-etiquette tips to ensure that our gyms remain a fun and welcoming community space.

Everyone climbs differently, so don't compare Apples & Oranges!

It should go without saying, but leave people be!

Spray disinfectant, not Beta! always let others ask for help before you offer it.

Please use your indoor voice when power vocalizing!

Remember that everyone brings different skills to the table and that you can’t tell someone’s level of expertise just from watching them.

Spotting can help us feel safer when climbing, but only spot when it’s asked for, and watch your hands!

You might not be the one to do these things, but you’re still an important part of keeping our community safe. Don’t be afraid to step in and speak up or ask staff for help!
